What are Human Resources?
Human Resources is the function of an organization whose people are called HRs with their dedicated job descriptions.

Human Resources is about ensuring that every organization provides a work environment that employees can thrive and be safe in.

It's about putting people first in all business decisions.

Well, then what HRs Do?
HRs are the pillars of any company no matter what their post is.

An assistant HR is as important to the HR Manager, as an HR manager is to the Company.

Besides just Hiring and Firing, HR guides an employee to balance his life and deals with issues related to them such as compensation and benefits, recruiting, training, performance management, and organization development and culture.

An HR fuels the company to reach new heights.

Why do people become HR?

1. If a person is interested and passionate about meeting people, helping them, listening to them, working with them, motivating them, guiding them when they join and he/she is suggested for HR then no other career can fulfill these criteria better.😄

2. You always want tomorrow different from yesterday and You love challenges, then it fits you.

3. For Great Career Shifts. Yes, you indeed utilize your knowledge and experience to guide lots of entrepreneurs which ultimately makes you one of Them.

There are other reasons like a handsome salary package or secured position but it depends on your growth and choice of an organization.

Sounds Interesting right?

Well here comes another question!!!

If you make up your mind and want to pursue a career in HR, how will you do that?

Well, this is not that tough.

The best ways to become an HR are

Earn a Degree and get hired as an intern in a reputed company for a year or less.

Or

Earn a Master's Degree in Human Resources for the desired position. (Like HR Manager)

And I know it's not that easy to get a degree with minimum funds and that's okay, you can go for online courses which are available and they provide certifications too...

So

If you are a qualified student then you should probably go for available internships which some of the companies provide during summers and Some of them all the time. You can find them from certified online portals and sites like monster or indeed. If you got it, then manage your studies and internships together. Because just focusing on one can affect for the long term.

And I am not kidding!!!

Also if you go for a master's degree or certifications it will surely get your Resume to stand out.

But after graduation and master's, the thing that matters most is the experience and skills.

So wherever you are, thinking or just getting started, HR internship and its experience matter most for newcomers. as HR is the fastest growing industry, and due to its growth, some places are always vacant for the freshers.
